Hong Kong's spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have underperformed their United States counterparts in the first week of launch. Despite attracting $262 million in assets under management, the ETFs only saw $14 million in inflows, far below the U.S. counterparts. The spot Ether ETFs in Hong Kong also did not impress with $54.2 million in AUM and $9.3 million in inflows. The Hong Kong equities sector is relatively small compared to the U.S., limiting liquidity.
